Our first twilight market was held in the James St Plaza yesterday ... this is an outdoors event and we had perfect weather ... a large blue sky and a sun shining brightly in the sky.
We had lots of visitors to the market too ... including a Diamond Python (a non-poisonous snake) and a band of Hare Krishnas singing/chanting at lunchtime, distributing flyers as they went!

I will have to investigate a new way of keeping cool and shadey without purchasing a gazebo before the next market in two weeks time ... and I have my eye on a table that features a hole for an umbrella - keep posted!
Being face to face with a live snake was quite interesting as it brought up primal fears, so I kindly asked it's owner for a picture as one way to overcome them in the moment.
I lived on a sheep farm during my early childhood years and Red-Belly Black Snakes were common sights ... the need to keep away from them was dramatically instilled in my siblings and I one day when one of the farm hands brought over a dead snake that was still hissing and moving with nerve activity and he told us quite sternly to keep well away if we see them.
Yes Sir!

Hi WW, they are held in the James St Plaza, on Beaumont St, Hamilton - 2nd and 4th Saturdays each month ... and I did have some sales too!
I will send you an email with the contact details.

I will try to catch at the next markets in December. Bad luck about the Christmas Sale being on the same Saturday this month. You have been very busy ... hope you are feeling fit and well now.
